Course summary

This exciting course covers the relevance of biochar making for improving immediate results in the art of boosting food production. The Amaronian Indians made biochar on a massive scale to support over a million people in the Amazon jungle on the very thin top soil (Permaculture!)

You can also use the resultant charcoal as a bar-B-Q fuel and is worth £1 per Kilo.
Temperatures of 450*C will be achieved

collecting the fuel to charge the burner from our mature woodlands and how we can also use 3 other feedstocks

Different rates of addition to finished compost
The End product has to be crushed to increase the surface area before adding to compost to make it “active”.
