Group or Business membership - All the benefits of Individual membership, plus create your online organisation profile, be featured in Permaculture Works & receive extra copies for your group members. You'll also be listed in our Group Members directory so that other members can find you.

International membership - Not based in the UK? We have added an additional amount to cover the cost of postage overseas.

The Permaculture Association is a lively network with lots of opportunities to get involved, contribute what you know and enjoy finding out about what's happening in the UK and elsewhere.

Membership contact details

Please read our Privacy policy. This explains how we collect, store, use and disclose information about you when you interact with us. It also includes information about your rights and how to ask us to stop using your data. Data we collect from you will be kept in a form which permits identification of data subjects for no longer than is necessary for the purposes for which the personal data are processed. Pre-existing personal data will be reviewed every 2 years and if there is no explicit need for it to support any of the charitable aims of the Permaculture Association it will be deleted. We use the information we hold to carry out our work so we can keep improving our support for Permaculture Association members, the permaculture network, permaculture learning and research, and help more people know about it.  The Permaculture Association is working to create an abundant world in which we care for the earth, each other and future generations, whilst living within nature’s limits.

Member preferences

We send updates and publications throughout the year by email and Permaculture Works, our permaculture journal every 9 months in print, posted to all members based in the UK. Please change the options below to opt in/out of print copies.

You can change your preferences at any time by logging on to your account, or by getting in touch with us directly.

We will help you to network with other members if you would like to do this. Please tell us if we may share your details with other members. You can choose to share all of your details or just your email address. You can opt out of any of these preferences at any time by logging on to the members area, or by getting in touch with us directly.

By becoming a member you are also subscribing to our monthly ebulletin email which you have the right to unsubscribe from at any time.

 
Permaculture Works is our members' journal, published every 9 months. We will email it as a PDF to all members and post it to every member with a UK postal address; you can opt out from the paper copy here.
 
We produce a seasonal 4 page update including a thought piece, design feature, and reporting on our work. We will email it as a PDF to all members - if you would like this posted to you in print, please opt in below.
If you would prefer to only be contacted by email for all communications including renewal reminders and ad-hoc mailings please indicate here.
 
 
We're interested to know how people come across permaculture. This data helps us to develop our marketing and recruitment strategy. You have the right to delete this at any time.
Please give us your date of birth. This is useful so that we can engage different age groups with relevant projects. We use this information to understand who is interested in permaculture. We will not share this information with any third party organisation. You have the right to delete this information at any time.
Become a permaculture ambassador and attend events on behalf of the Association, report on permaculture via the ambassadors blog and send us your inspiring photos! You can opt out of this at any time by logging on to the website and amended your membership preferences or getting in contact with us via phone or email.
 
 
By selecting 'Yes' above you are confirming: 1. You would like payments made to the Permaculture Association (Charity no. 1116699) to be treated as Gift Aid. 2. You are a UK taxpayer and 3. You pay at least as much income tax as the amount we will reclaim on your donations, in this tax year. Gift Aid increases the value of donations to charities by allowing them to reclaim basic tax rate on donations. We would like to reclaim Gift Aid on your behalf. You can go into your member preferences and remove your flag from the map, any time.
