Course website http://granadapermacultura.bl… Dates and times Sat, 14 Nov 2015, 12am Cost 790 OR 750 euros for concessions, or 590 for camping Course summary We are offering a beautiful experience of learning and inspiration, in our PDC course. Based in the natural and gorgeous surroundings of the Sierra Nevada mountains and national park, it is a 16 day long residential course, that we have tried to design in the most balanced way that we can. Making sure that the intense theoretical lessons in the classroom are balanced out by exciting 'field trips' to visit farms, communities and gardens in the local valleys and mountains. We feel it is important to see the subjects that we study being put into action, experiencing the different ways people put the ideas into effect. Our local area includes many different eco-systems from the cold snowy peaks and sides of the mountains where its more similar to northern Europe, all the way down to the completely sub-tropical coastline on the Mediterranian Sea. So some of the information that we learn is certainly applicable to your own regions of the world. The local area includes many opportunities for continuing your permaculture journey. such as Volunteering on farms, practising design skills, working at the local seed bank, buying or renting land, starting new or saving pre-existing communities! its a hive of eco-minded activity!
