The aim of the course is for participants to have a thorough understanding of the Children in Permaculture pedagogy, activities, curriculum and permaculture design tools, such that they can create a portfolio for their next step towards becoming a CiP Trainer. The portfolio will include a Permaculture Design for a children's garden and a Session plan for working with children. Both these designs would be of the standard of a Diploma in Applied Permaculture Design, and can be submitted as one of the ten designs for the diploma. On completion of the practitioners training course and the portfolio, graduates will be official 'CiP practitioners' which means that they will be able to work with children as 'Children in Permaculture practitioners' on courses, events etc.

It is for people who have completed a Permaculture Design Course (72 hour or approximately 12 day course) and the CiP two day introduction course (if you haven't completed this introductory course, it is on the 21st & 22nd April 2020 at the same venue).
