Roundwood Timber Framing - (Part2) Building The Frame

Cutting all the Roundwood timber frame joints and frame assembly.
A 4 day intensive Frame Building course. We will cut the scribed (butter-pat) and mortise and tenon joints. We’ll also assemble a reciprocal roof so that you understand how this wonderful piece of geometry works. The techniques taught can be applied to a range of green wood projects, from houses and sheds to furniture. This is a very practical course but no previous experience is necessary.

The course is held at our lovely wood yard, the place where all our building projects start. Amazing organic meals are prepared fresh on site by our fabulous chef, Katherine. Camping is in the woodland or fields behind the yard. However on occasion we have a real build going on at the same time in which case we’ll re-locate there. Notice will be give asap.
