Course summary

We will spend two days in a beautiful converted barn and on the surrounding land looking at the ethics, principles, processes and tools for using Permaculture Design. This introduction course gives a brief overview with some practical activities, and is a good "first step" to undertaking the 12 day Permculture Design Certificate course.

Taught by Mark Shipperlee, who has taught permaculture design in various areas of the UK, France and Romania, he brings many years experience of a range of land working practices, with a focus on woodlands and trees for a large part of his working life.

Permaculture is a design system that allows us to engage with nature and natural solutions, founded in Australia in the 1970's, and continues to influences lives, land and livelihoods around the world today.
