In person sessions (full day) on 5th and 6th October (day), then one Saturday a month until April 2025, followed by a closing weekend on 3rd and 4th May 2025. Online sessions one Tuesday a month from October to March

Course summary

We have been running the course in Leeds since 2006 and have great feedback from students, who have gone on to do impressive work at home, in their communities and on new forest gardens, farms and smallholdings.

On this course you will:

  • develop your permaculture skills and understanding
  • have a good overview of what permaculture is and how it is being used produce and implement a site design (e.g. for a house, garden, farm, woodland, park)
  • be able to apply permaculture to your own situation eg be able to use fewer non-renewable resources recognise and develop your own skills
  • work collaboratively, share ideas and know how to contribute to the wider community
  • be inspired and visit great projects across Leeds and nearby
  • have fun!
