About the Job: 
At Zero Carbon Yorkshire, we want to improve our communications with our growing network of people committed to tackling climate change in Yorkshire. We’re looking for a communications specialist for a short-term, freelance contract to take us to our next stage of development. We’ll need you to co-ordinate decisions and actions from the Board, regular communications to our members, manage our social media presence and develop a communications strategy. You’ll work closely with our board of directors to help co-ordinate decisions and actions and particularly to create our messaging systems and develop comms around our core strategy to engage our current members and attract new people to our network. Based from home with occasional meetings in Leeds (travel expenses paid), you’ll work up to 20 hours per month for the next 8-10 months for which you will be paid £12 a hour on a contracted/self-employed basis.
