About the Job: 

The Biodynamic Agricultural College is a charity which aims to provide education in biodynamics and to support the wider agro-ecological movement. We believe that a modern holistic education is needed to meet the challenges of our future. Therefore we value and support the individual learners creativity. Biodynamic farming and gardening articulate these values and provide methods which support a wide variety of other agro-ecology methodologies like organic, permaculture and agroforestry.

For more than twenty years BDAC has developed expertise in providing full-time education, in seminars and online, providing quality-assured certification, developing holistic curricula and engaging with the biodynamic and agro-ecology educational network worldwide.


Now we are seeking a new coordinator to develop, promote and administer the online training department. There are a number of projects to be continued and more waiting to be developed and implemented.

Vital for the position:

  • Knowledge of agro-ecological approaches to farming

  • An interest in biodynamic principles and practice

Key skills:

  • Experience in online education (Moodle) or willingness to develop expertise

  • Basic website design and updating (wordpress)

  • Confidence in navigating and using social media to promote courses and biodynamics in general (facebook, twitter, instagram)

  • Good communication skills

  • A collaborative approach

  • Independent, organised and flexible working

Other requirements:

  • A good internet connection


The Coordinator will work from home, collaborating with our small team on a self-employed basis. 

Monthly online trustee meetings need to be attended as well as other executive team meetings, some of which will be face to face.

The projected time needed is estimated to average at ten hours per week in the first year with the possibility to expand in the second year. Start date will be November 2020.

Remuneration is dependent on existing expertise, between £15 - £20 / hour.
