WWOOF UK are recruiting!

Part-time Promotion and Marketing Lead, 2.5 days per week for 18 months fixed term contract (with the hope the role will continue, subject to income and success)

As we move towards our 50th year, we want more people to have heard about the wonderful thing that is WWOOFing, and we want to create more opportunities for active participation. Under the umbrella of our 50th birthday and golden year celebrations, we are significantly investing in a post to lead us in achieving both of these things.

Job Terms

Contracted Hours: This is a part time role - 2.5 days/week (18.75 hours/week) - with a fixed term contract, with the hope the role will continue, subject to income and success

Salary: £26,715 per annum, pro rata

NB: WWOOF UK has a flat payment structure; all workers paid at exactly the same rate.

Pension & holidays: WWOOF has an occupational pension scheme which, if eligible, the appointed person may enrol into. Statutory paid holiday entitlement is given to all staff (5.6 weeks/year pro rata).

Working pattern & location: Tuesday is the core working day for the WWOOF UK staff team, so the successful applicant will be required to work at least half a day on Tuesdays (preferably the whole day). There is flexibility for the post-holder to work their remaining hours within standard office hours across the week, although occasional weekend and evening work is required to enable attendance at meetings. The WWOOF staff team all work from home, using their own IT equipment.

Deadline for application: Sunday 29th March, 2020. We cannot accept applications after the deadline.

Shortlisting: We hope to shortlist for interview by 3rd April, 2020 and will contact all applicants to inform them of whether or not they’ve been shortlisted.

Interview dates: An initial short Skype call (half hour maximum) will be held with shortlisted candidates, probably in the week commencing 6th April. After a further shortlisting process, face-to-face interviews will be held in the couple of weeks following that (exact details and location TBC).

Start date: We hope the new post-holder may be able to start in May, June if not.
