Diploma Network Monthly Online Gatherings

Members of the Diploma network are warmly invited to join us for the new Diploma Monthly Online Gatherings (MOG).

Come along to meet and connect with other apprentices and tutors, and for a range of supportive content that will vary each month.

How do I join? 

 You need to register for each monthly session via the registration links in the Diploma portal - you will need to be logged in to register. These sessions are also advertised in the Diploma newsletters (contact us if you haven't received those emails but think you should be).

What are the themes are how do I get involved?

Information on past sessions is available here. If you want to contribute a topic or hold a discussion on a particular theme at a Diploma MOG,  let us know in this survey!

Every Diploma MOG will be include a 1-hour themed session and a 30-minute small group check-ins with other apprentices. So we hope you will be inspired by the special themes and motivated by regularly checking in with other apprentices!

Upcoming dates:

• December 8th 6.30pm (UK) (final session of 2022 and note it's earlier in the month than usual!) - Exploring principles, with Senior tutor, Wilf Richards.  

"I am writing a book about the permaculture principles and would love to get everyone in the diploma system involved in some way. What is your favourite principle and why? What even is a principle and why do we use them? When's the best time to use a principle in the design process? Do you have suggestions for changing any principles? What do you think is the future of the permaculture principles? We will be looking at these questions and more. I will also be telling everyone how the book is going and how you could be involved further if you wish."

Apprentices - meet other apprentices and check-in about your Diploma journey, connect with apprentices and potentially form a guild, share your design work and get feedback, be inspired by the work of others, get advice from tutors and graduates and connect with tutors to find a Personal Tutor or book a Design Tutorial.

Tutors - meet apprentices, share information about your special skills and experience, and make connections that may lead to design support tutorials or becoming a personal tutor for new apprentices.

Diploma holders - stay connected to the network, share your design skills and experience with apprentices, keep up-to-date with opportunities within the Diploma community, and meet tutors as a potential future pathway for yourself!
