Summary information

''Feeding ourselves in Wales’ ‘Bwydo’n hunain yng Nghymru’

Wales Permaculture and Landworkers Alliance Cymru Joint Summer Gathering
Cynulliad Paramaethu Cymru a Gweithwyr y Tir.

The Wales Permaculture Gathering is in Newport, Pembrokeshire this year at the Brithdir Mawr eco-community. We will be focusing on positive solutions to sustainable food production and well being in this time of climate and political uncertainty.
Highlights are:
• a joint programme this year with the Landworkers Alliance who will bring lots of practical land based workshops and some local site visits on Sunday
• Great socials – around the campfire every night; film evenings in the community lounge with burner; Ceilidh and off grid DJ planned Saturday night
• Produce for sale from participants as well as a swaps table
• Family friendly, traffic free site on a working community farm with grade II listed buildings and farm animals
• 20 minutes walk from the village of Newport-Pembs [buses, cafes, beaches and shops]
• Workshops, round table discussions and strategy planning
Price:
Includes access to workshops, evening entertainments, 2 nights camping pitch, Saturday all meals, Sunday breakfast and lunch, drinks & snacks.
We'd love to enable as many people as possible to attend the Gathering, regardless of their ability to pay. So we have a ‘Pay it Forward’ price which enables those who can afford to pay a little bit more, to help out those who can't.
The funds will form a Bursary pot - apply for 50% reduction on Concessionary price. Email [email protected] if you have circumstances which mean you're unable to afford the concessionary rate.

Access:
We will do our very best to accommodate access needs, but as this is a listed building and a working farm there may be some difficulty accessing certain spaces [small steps and uneven ground etc]. Please contact [email protected] for more info and to work out how we can make things work for you.
Come along learn, relax and share!
Want to help facilitate round table discussions? Or run a workshop? Get in touch – we have a few open slots on the programme.

‘Bwydo’n hunain yng Nghymru’
Cynulliad Paramaethu Cymru a Gweithwyr y Tir.

Mae Cynulliad Paramaethu Cymru yn Sir Benfro eleni, yn eco-gymuned Brithdir Mawr, Trefdraeth. Byddwn yn canolbwyntio ar atebion cadarnhaol gan edrych ar gynhyrchu bwyd yn gynaliadwy, a llesiant yn y cyfnod yma o ansicrwydd gwleidyddol a hinsoddol.
Uchafbwyntiau:
• Rhaglen ar y cyd eleni gyda Chynghrair Gweithwyr y Tir a fydd yn dod a digonedd o weithdai ymarferol wedi’u seilio ar y tir a rhai ymweliadau lleol ar y dydd Sul
• Cyfleoedd gwych i gymdeithasu- o gwmpas y tân gwersyll bob nos; nosweithiau ffilm yn lolfa’r gymuned gyda llosgydd coed; ceilidh a DJ tu hwnt i’r grid yn y cynlluniau ar gyfer nos Sadwrn
• Cynnyrch ar werth gan gyfranogwyr yn ogystal â bwrdd cyfnewid
• Safle teulu-gyfeillgar, heb drafnidiaeth ar fferm gymunedol weithiol gydag anifeiliaid fferm ac adeiladau rhestredig gradd 2
• Taith gerdded ugain munud i Drefdraeth (bysiau, caffis,, traethau a siopau)
• Gweithdai, trafodaethau ford gron a chynllunio strategol
Pris: yn cynnwys mynediad i weithdai, adloniant gyda’r nos, safle gwersylla am ddwy noson, pob pryd bwyd ar y dydd Sadwrn, brecwast a chinio canol dydd ar y dydd Sul, yn cynnwys diodydd a byrbrydau.
Hygyrchedd: oherwydd i’r adeilad fod yn rhestredig a’r fferm yn weithiol efallai bydd yn anodd cyrraedd rhai lleoliadau (grisiau bychain, tir anwastad ayb), Cysylltwch â [email protected] am ragor o fanylion
Dewch i ddysgu, i ymlacio ac i rannu:
Eisiau cyfrannu at drafodaethau ford gron wedi’u ffocysu? Neu redeg gweithdy? Cysylltwch â ni – mae gennym ychydig o slotiau agored ar y rhaglen.

Ffoniwch 01994 427310 os ydych wedi ei gadael yn rhy hwyr i archebu ar-lein.
