Shared Assets and the Centre for Agroecology and Water Resilience are working with a range of international partners to understand the pressures faced by food growers working at the edges of cities, and how food growing can be protected and enhanced.
This workshop will explore:
- how food growing in and around London can be protected and supported in the face of urbanisation and development, and
- the potential for closing the loop between food waste, composting and food growing in London.
It will also provide an opportunity to meet and nnetwork with other London based food growers, find out more about the research project, and hear about food growing and composting practices from other cities including Riga (Latvia), Brussels (Belgium) and Rosario (Argentina)
