Transformative Cities is an opportunity for progressive local governments, municipalist coalitions, social movements and civil society organizations to popularize and share their experiences of building solutions to our planet’s systemic economic, social, political and ecological crisis.

Maya Mountain Research Farm Permaculture, Agroecology and Agroforestry Internship

Tucked into the foothills of the Maya Mountains, two miles up river from the village of San Pedro Columbia in southern Belize, MMRF is a working demonstration farm and registered NGO that promotes sustainable agriculture, appropriate technology and food security using permaculture principles and applied biodiversity. With nearly 30 years of organic management and conversion from an abandoned citrus and cattle farm to a biologically diverse polyculture, MMRF is one of Central Americas oldest permaculture farms.

3ha biodynamic land for a permaculture project ( and a hope of cooperation) in Denmark

Hedeager farm, at Ølgod in West Jutland, Denmark, has now felled an area of forest (are now strip-grazing pigs on this land) These 3ha. of biodynamic land are available for one or more people who want to cultivate a permaculture garden and cooperate with our farm and production.

There may be the possibility of securing a long-term usage of the land and there is a possibility of housing on our farm, or setting up a tiny-house.

The Postcode Lottery Green Challenge

The Postcode Lottery Green Challenge is one of the world's largest competitions in the field of sustainable entrepreneurship. Green start-ups from all over the world can submit their promising sustainable business plans. The winner will receive €500,000 to further develop the product or service, and to bring it to market. The runner-up will receive €200,000  and the three other finalists receive €100,000 each. An international jury selects the winner and runner-up.
