Opportunities within the UK
Here at Wild Oak Woods, on the stunningly beautiful Solway Coast, in Dumfries and Galloway we find ourselves with more land than we need and indeed perhaps more than we can easily cope with. We are therefore offering an opportunity for people to come and join us and perhaps lease some of our land for other small businesses in keeping with the site. Please see wildoakwoods.co.uk or our facebook page Wild Oak Woods for more details and photos of the site.
We are looking for volunteers to help us at the Earth Connections Eco Centre on Isle of Eigg, W. of Scotland, from April to Sept 2017. Minimum stay 1 month, but longer stays preferred.

Volunteering at Horton Community Farm (HCF) gives you the opportunity to gain experience of organic growing and site maintenance as well as sharing your knowledge and experience with us.
Covid19 safety measures are in place, limiting the number of volunteers we can accommodate at the moment and requiring social distancing and regular hand gel applications (supplied by us).
Exciting volunteer opportunity to co-develop a 7 acre site with fruit and vegetables for the local community using Permaculture principles and design.
We are ideally looking for someone with a horticultural/growing background to help us develop and implement a permaculture design for the farm.
We are based in Wallington, Sutton.

I am running a project with DART (Doncaster COmmunity ARts) which involves working with a cross generational group to create a productive garden at the Point (DART"s home) as part of a three month project called A Patch of Ground exploring people's ecological identities and relationships to the natural world.
We would like to invite Permaculture folk in the Doncaster area who hopefully will be interested in being involved. We ran this project with the Bluecoat in Liverpool last year and the garden in particular was a real point of communication and learning for people.
Our group meets on the 2nd Monday of each month and we are looking for someone to speak for about 1 hour at one of our monthly meetings in 2011.
We are interested to hear about the practice of permaculture and how it can help us manage our gardens especially in relation to climate change.
We are happy to pay a fee and travelling expenses if you have a speaker available in the Kent area.
Please contact if you can help.
