A Semi-detached house of mixed age (1900-1970) has been fitted with wood fired central heating, wood fired cooker, solar wet thermal system, oak framed high efficiency double glazing, loft and wall insulation. It is home to a family of four. It is sited on a large ‘L’ shaped plot which has been developed using permaculture design to integrate poultry water fowl, goats, covered food growing area, 30 variety apple orchard, no-dig semi raised beds, sustainable top bar bee hives, vermicuture, hot and cold composting, humanure processing, 4000l water harvesting and storage facility, willow fedge and coppice, young nut trees and wild areas.Currently for sale see link below.
