My partner and I run Gallery Farm, a permaculture site to the north of Nottingham. We are currently working with the government to create a flood management wetland.
We see Earth Care as our main focus, with plants and animals as our primary clients - a sort of rewilding in a way that also fits with obtaining appropriate yields. Our project will also aid the local village in reducing the risk of flooding.
In addition, I am an Early Years teacher, training as a Forest School leader. I believe that children should be taught about the human connection to the environment and should inherit more 'real wealth' than the generations preceding them.
I have a hunger for learning and have had a fairly vertical learning curve thus far in the permaculture sphere. Long may it continue..
