Ivanlea - Lasswade Permaculture Smallholding

Ivanlea is a family home for three generations of our family. We are working towards deploying permaculture design principles over our 6 acre smallholding - to provide food and fuel or our family and for all the other non-human inhabitants of the land. Our excess production is shared - 50% is sold in local stores, 50% is donated to community meals. At the moment , we are developing a food forest, an orchard and a wood fuel woodland. We have chickens and sheep. Our solar power and polytunnel are being installed this Spring. We have set aside 2 acres of our land for wildlife. We are still learning and hope , in time, to meet some of you !
