Open Call for speakers at the International Children in Permaculture Conference in July 2019.

We are looking for speakers and workshop leaders who would like to share their inspirational work with the participants at this international conference. Workshops and speeches must relate to the topics listed below. If you are interested in leading either a short speech or a workshop, you are invited to complete the speaker form before the 15th March 2019 (and pay for your place). You will then be informed by email before the end of March if this workshop has been selected for presentation at the conference.

TOPICS

Plenary speeches and workshops on various aspects of permaculture education with children aged 3-12 years, such as:

*Outdoor Learning

*Learning for Sustainability

*Closing the poverty related attainment gap

*Engaging the Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) communities

*Embedding permaculture into education

*Case study examples of engaging children in permaculture

* Examples of activities or sessions in one of the CiP six themes:

       - Introducing Permaculture (learning about the ethics and principles)

       - Living nature (learning about how nature works)

       - Design

       - Growing food

       - Built environment and resource use

       - Social permaculture
