Course summary

Forest Gardening is a way of using the natural systems and layers of a woodland to create a food-producing environment with minimal effort. It is made up of fruit and nut trees, fruit bushes, perennial vegetables and herbs. A Forest Garden can be tailored to fit any space. This weekend will provide a theoretical overview of how to design, implement and maintain a temperate forest garden. This will be followed up by 2 planting days later in the year which will focus on creating and planting an actual forest garden at Fen End organic farm.
