Course website http://cherrypond.wixsite.com… Dates and times 25 Aug 17 Course summary Come join the Cherry Pond crew for our first on site, off-grid Permaculture Design certificate course. The 72+ hour course will be held over a two week period and will follow the curriculum as laid out in Bill Mollison's masterpiece "Permaculture- A Designer's Manual". The course will cover a wide range of topics. Our aim is for you to come out of this course with a clear understanding of how to create regenerative human settlements, in different climates, in tune with Permaculture ethics. We will also have a number of guest speakers to learn from and a site visit to our neighbouring farm. Why Cherry pond? We are in the pioneering stage of setting up our Permaculture paradise here at Cherry Pond and feel we can provide a lot of hands on, practical advice during your stay here. We aren't just talking about living in a regenerative, low-tech manner, we are passionately engaged in doing so and relish the opportunity to help those wishing to set up their own "peace" of Permacultured land. We are a remote, off-grid site in one of Portugal's largest natural parks, the Serra Da Estrela, making this a fantastic opportunity for those wishing to do a Pdc whilst submerged in nature. To observe, to listen and to learn. Come, inspire, get inspired and have a lot of fun in the process. Can I bring my kids? Sure! For those travelling with children we offer a kinder "forest" garden service during class time, full of fun natural living orientated activities.
