Course summary

Learn, share and collaborate in the redesign of London based on permaculture principles. A fascinating and enjoyable weekend of talks and workshops in a new community space, Hive at Dalston.

The weekend covers the fundamentals of permaculture, including:

• Ethics and principles
• Design tools
• Observation skills
• A Practical design activity
• Local networks and projects

Of special interest is looking at the permaculture design evident in new and innovative systems of community currency, fresh produce distribution, waste management (re-use and recycling), and dynamic governance (consent based decision making). How can permaculture design can be integrated into communities and grown to scale?
Would you like to gain a knowledge and understanding of the basics of permaculture and leave inspired with ideas? No previous knowledge of permaculture needed.
