Introduction to Permaculture Design

This 2 day Course will provide a brief overview of Permaculture Design including the Permaculture ethics, design principles and design methods. There will be presentations of example designs, practical exercises, small group work and design activities. This is an ideal course for those needing to know a bit more about Permaculture but not having the time available to attend the full 12 day course. The course will support your design hopes whether that be a garden, your home or lifestyle. The teacher will be Wilf Richards, from Abundant Earth workers coop based in Durham. Wilf has almost 20 years experience of Permaculture Design including applications in landscape design, community development and veg growing. There will be practical exercises and some physical work, some indoors, some outdoors. Please bring weatherproof clothes and footwear.
