Course summary

A 12 day course introducing you to the internationally used permaculture design system, which uses ecological principles to help people create low impact, healthy homes, gardens and communities. Find out how to put permaculture into action and see practical examples as we visit different examples of permaculture in action in Glasgow and Argyll.

The course is over 6 weekends. The first weekend can be taken in October '16 or January '17. The 2nd-6th weekends are on the first weekend of the month from February to June. This format allows the information to fully sink in, for you to have time to digest and do homework, and to fully integrate your learning into your daily life.

There will be a mixture of theory and hands on learning, indoor and outdoor sessions. This year three modules will take place at the Concrete Gardens where we will be doing our group design projects. This is well-time for the Concrete Gardens who will be putting designs into action as they rearrange the whole site.
