Permaculture Design Course in rural Brittany, France

We will be running the international standard curriculum of the 72-hour permaculture course which is certified by the Permaculture Association (UK).
We are situated in rural Brittany with the beautiful, inspiring countryside on our doorstep. We have secured a former dairy farm as the main teaching site, and the learning will take place between there and Afrinoon Permaculture farm with its integrated food/animal systems. Our classes are relaxed, interactive and fun. The course will include curriculum topics presented using a variety of methods which will include lectures, discussions/debates, hands on activities, group projects and site visits.
We welcome people of all ages, background and levels of experience: come with an open mind and be prepared to learn, share and enjoy meeting likeminded people. All classes are conducted in English. We will also have feature sessions with guest teachers, and site visits showing local permaculture projects in practise.
Hearty delicious meals will be served at lunch times where all food is either grown at Afrinoon Permaculture or sourced from the gardens of our community Association.
Cost for Non Residential option: £450 includes lunch, refreshments, teaching, site visits, handouts and access to online resources
Deposit: €150 is required at booking

Unfortunately, due to the current Covid situation we are no longer able to offer a residential option. Accommodation will be separate to the above course fees. Please enquire directly for prices.
Accommodation options: The farm house has 2 bedrooms and this will be let out on a first come first serve basis. You can bring your tent and camp on the grounds (please inquire for cost of camping option) Alternatively we have 2 comfortable yurts available for rent. There are also local holiday cottage options if you wish to arrange your accommodation separately.
