Jane and Paul's terrace garden

The site was very steep, a long narrow space. This leant itself to creating a design that resulted in several outdoor "rooms", each at a different level. Plenty of reclaimed materials were used including the old school fence to build the terrace walls. Each level had a different function - a lawn for play, a shady herb area, fruit tree and bushes, compost and wilderness with a tree house built by colleague Matt Whittaker
