Permaculture family homestead in edible landscape growing into learning centre and village-community
Here in the green heart of Croatia we are growing a self reliant village-community for likeminded (permaculture) people. The land is called Bogata Šuma (Rich Forest) and rich it is!
We have year-round food in our edible landscape with which we feed ourselves, our animals and guests on the campsite.
We have set up a polyculture nut orchard, a food forest, a food savanna and a big vegetable park.
We give courses in permaculture, sustainable living and personal development with our “Country Life Academy”.
Our helpers: volunteers, bees (pollinators), sheep (grass mowers), rabbits (fertilizers) and chickens (compost turners), dogs (doorbells) cats (mouse hunters) and goldfish (against mosquito larvae).
You can visit us as a camping guest or on one of our courses. Barbara would also be interested in co-facilitating her courses.
If you would like visits, how should people arrange their visit?
