A 7 acre restoration project and permaculture education homestead
child with hen

Cynefin farm is on the site of an old abandoned garden centre, which has been left to rewild for over 30 years. Nim and family have been here for nearly 4 years and are restoring the degraded pasture land with regenerative agriculture techniques and setting up a permaculture homestead, with a variety of different systems in place, including no dig gardens, a newly forming food forest, tree nursery, and animal systems. We are passionate about soil health, ferments (both for us and for the gardens) growing both annuals and perennials, and all things permaculture. We run permaculture education courses from the farm throughout the spring and summer months.
