A charity spreading awareness and understanding of permaculture at events throughout the UK

Field Families CIO is a charitable organisation, devoted to spreading the awareness and understanding of permaculture throughout the UK. We organise areas at festivals & events, using permaculture design. We are community builders, orchardists, pagans, artists, teachers, gardeners, activists and mechanics. And we love active, inclusive and participatory design!

We have developed after more than two decades of working on the Glastonbury Festival site, and the former Big Green Gathering. As many festivals have moved from Traveller-led DIY affairs to bureaucratic behemoths, we have come together to collectively offer temporary transient communities that collectively run areas at festivals, and other events around the UK. We have a fine selection of speakers, workshop providers, caterers, decor providers, lighting, structures and plants to perk up your area and inspire event goers with something they can take home.

If you would like visits, how should people arrange their visit?
You can come and visit us at any of the spaces that we run at UK festivals throughout the UK.
