Course summary

Permaculture helps us find practical solutions to complex problems, it’s for everyone - even if you have no garden or land! Find out how it can help you and the planet on this accessible, friendly weekend course.

Spend time with like-minded people and leave with practical tools and tips, plus hopefully reassurance that there are lots of small but mighty things we can do to salve the climate and wildlife emergencies around us.

This weekend course is set up to be informative and inspiring, and will help you:
• Understand the Ethics and Principles of permaculture
• Learn eco’ observation and design methods
• Understand natural systems and patterns
• Share skills and knowledge with others
• Enjoy reflective time in nature

The course gives you the opportunity to discuss important issues in a positive, creative and supportive space. The course also starts you off on designing your own permaculture patch or project – straight away putting in to practice the learning you’ve gained!

Student feedback says the small-group learning is "lively, participatory and thought provoking".

This course is hosted at a leading sustainability centre, led by Emily Howgate and Shila Fletcher of Muck & Magic. Both are permaculture practitioners and attentive facilitators, with experience working in national conservation groups and local community orgs.

Muck & Magic courses routinely gain 5-star feedback from attendees.
Come see for yourself how to grow more smiles and sustainability in your life :)
