This welcoming one day workshop, at the inspiring Bosavern Community Farm, will give you the opportunity to explore the natural world and participate in regenerate farming. On this friendly and uplifting short course we will have our hands in the soil, practicing techniques in organic food growing and enhancing biodiversity. You will be able to find out more about all the exciting forthcoming community courses taking place at Bosavern Farm in 2024! And you will have the chance to sign up for courses of your choice. A great opportunity to benefit from spending time in the out of doors, whilst pursuing your interest in nature and meeting others in your community. This welcoming course is open to all people with various abilities and levels of experience The day will be hosted at the award winning Bosavern Community Farm in St Just and facilitated by one of our experienced tutors During this short course you will have the chance to get a taste of community farming and Permaculture Design . This will include practical sessions in organic food growing such as making vegetable beds, seed sowing , planting and tree care . There are many forthcoming courses planned at Bosavern Community Farm for 2024 and you will have the chance to learn more about them, and to enrol with the WEA on any courses of your choice. This is an outdoor based day, but we will have an contingency plan to work with nature under shelter, if the weather is too bad to remain outside ! Please bring a packed lunch, water bottle, appropriate clothes , including waterproofs if needed, and sturdy foot wear We will have regular breaks and plenty of time for lunch during the day.
