Sarah Spencer My websites http://www.thinklikeatree.co… Taking new apprentices? No About me Founder of Think like a Tree and author of Think like a Tree: the natural principles guide to life. I have always felt most at home in the woods, growing up in ancient Charnwood Forest, and now live in the National Forest, a new woodland being created around me. I hold a Diploma in Applied Permaculture Design and was founder and lead designer of Whistlewood Common community woodland social enterprise. I trained as a forest school leader and was formerly a caseworker providing legal advice and representation to refugees. In 2017 I founded Think like a tree, with the aim of sharing permaculture, biomimicry and other natural wisdom to everyone, so that they can benefit from it in their personal lives. I also offer bespoke workshops and courses. I train facilitators to deliver Think like a Tree courses, combining the natural principles and design skills with their own discipline. One such collaboration resulted in Think like a Forest Regenerative Leadership/Organisation programmes. I run courses at Whistlewood Common in South Derbyshire and online, and workshops and courses at other venues throughout the UK. Educator experience Over 10 years of education experience with children and adults, via forest school, eco schools and subsequently with Think like a Tree. I was unable to finish my permaculture Training of Teachers due to ill-health but have subsequently trained facilitators for Think like a Tree.
